Weis Markets sponsors 10th Anniversary Dream Team

pedaling for pups to benefit UDS Service Dogs Program

Let's make this the best year ever, thank you for your support!

Dream Ride Lancaster

September 21, 2013

The UDS "Dream Team" members celebrate 10 years cycling to raise money for the UDS Service Dogs, a program dedicated to training dogs to help people with disabilities, children with Autism and our Veterans. The money raised for the UDS Service Dogs Program stays in our community and helps with the approximate cost of $25,000 it takes to raise and train each service dog.

This year the UDS Service Dogs Program and Dream Team Riders are grateful for our new sponsor, Weis Markets, helping us celebrate 10 years of pedaling for pups.

The riders are able to select the length of the tour they wish to participate in starting at 10 miles and going up to 100 miles. The tours will take you through the rolling countryside of western and northwestern Lancaster County with continuous views of preserved farmland, some covered bridges and the less traveled country roads.

If you are unable to participate in person, you can become a Dream Team virtual rider. Both types of Riders can qualify for UDS Dream Ride Team incentives.

Rider Registration prior to September 15th - $30; after September 15th or the day of the event cost will be - $40! If you are under 16 Rider Registration prior to September 1st - $15; after September 1st and the day of the event cost will be - $25

Don't forget about the "Nightmare Ride" scheduled for August 10th starting at sunrise! UDS Dream Team riders can also raise donations for the UDS Service Dogs during the infamous Nightmare Tour. Prior to August 1st registration for this event is $60 and on the day of event $75. You can save $10 if registering on-line. This event is the notorious Lancaster County Perimeter ride (177 challenging miles), which also offers the Nightmare Century (109.6 miles - hey it's the Nightmare), or the Nightmare Double Century (200 miles).
